Advocacy Services

Advocacy services support people, particulary those most vulnerable in society to make sure that their rights are respected and their views and wishes are heard at all times.

An advocate can help provide support in the following ways:

  • by listening to you and making sure your voice, wishes and feelings are being heard and helping you say what you want.
  • helping you make a complaint.
  • by making sure that you understand your rights and that other people have respected your rights.
  • providing support to you in important meetings.
  • providing help in obtaining the services that you are entitled to.
