Leeds Court Users Group – B&PCs
TO LITIGATORS USING THE BUSINESS & PROPERTY COURTS IN LEEDS
The advent of the Business and Property Courts in Leeds provides an opportunity to reconsider the structure and workings of the current specialised court users’ groups. To date the Vice Chancellor has chaired a combined Mercantile and Chancery Users’ Group and HHJ Raeside Q.C. has chaired his own TCC Users’ Group.
Following discussions with the Specialist Circuit Judges we are seeking expressions of interest from practitioners who use the Specialist Courts that make up the Business and Property Courts in Leeds (including solicitors, members of CILEx, barristers, in-house lawyers and clerks of chambers) to participate in the work of the users’ groups.
As can be seen from the form attached there are three different ways to get involved:
A full committee member would be invited to attend committee meetings (which will number about four a year). It is likely that these will continue to be chaired by the VC (approximately two per year) and, in his absence, by one of the Specialist Circuit Judges.

The deadline for submitting the form is close of business on 22 December 2017.
Please note the other information at the end of the form.
